Instead of importing more fossil fuels, let's commit California
to new fuel efficiency standards and expanded electrification of
vehicles that consume much of Amazon oil. This would involve
expansion of EVs and public transportation to reduce domestic
consumption equivalent to Amazon oil import totals.
