| Comment | This 'average Californian owns a compressor and several tire
gauges. He regularly checks inflation of all his tires, and they
are at or sometimes above manufacturers recommendation, when it
does not adversely effect ride or handling. I am well aware of the
effect of under inflation and have been know to tell total
strangers when I observe that they need to check their tires. I
worked in the automotive industry for many years, as well as being
a car enthusiast, as are many other Californians. You regulation
will not save me a dime, and if I end up paying somebody else to
check my tires, will instead cost me money, with absolutely no
benefit to anyone. This is a stupid regulation that should be
taken care of by the marketplace and public information programs,
including mention in the driver's license manual, even a test
question. All this will do is demonstrate once again the short
sighted mentality that thinks it can solve all problems with some
blanket regulation that penalizes those already in compliance as
much as those who are not.
You need a knot snatched in your tail!
