Last summer I needed to replace a 13+ year old vehicle--I had been
putting off a car purchase as I had hoped for an eco friendly car
beyond the current hybrid options to be available--so I purchased
a Toyota Matrix with 5 speed transmission that gets 35 MPG Fwy. I
would have liked to purchase an all electric vehicle and the
possibility to generate its power from solar panels that I could
have placed on the roof of my home.
As you consider the future of Zero Emmission/Electric vehicles,
please encourage more development of these cars to conserve the
resources of God's creation and minimize the impact of global
warming.
