| Comment | It is time that California live up to its reputation of leading the
US by requiring that automobile manufacturers do their part to
reduce our CO2 emissions and to reduce our dependence on oil. The
facts are clear. Our planet is warming up and our oil supplies are
limited. We need to make changes now. Unfortunately, the
financially focused automobile manufacturers have no interest in
supporting this concept because it will cost them money. CARB
needs to fullfill its responsibility to protect the citizens of
California and not the automobile manufactures by requiring them
to produce energy efficient electric cars. I think it is
embarrassing that CARB's ZEV recommendations favor the automobile
manufacturers over our best interest. Some might consider this
corruption. Please revise the ZEV requirements!
Sincerely,
Mark J. Albers
