If this hearing is about considering no longer testing tail pipe
emissions on 2000 and newer vehicles. I would encourage this
hearing to vote no. I have seen tail pipe emissions failing on
these vehicles even when no codes are present. I also would like to
see a test added to our current load test . This would be a test at
idle for tail pipe emissions . There are many cars at idle in
traffic polluting that would fail a basic area idle tailpipe
test.These vehicles pass our enhanced area loaded test.
