| Comment | Don't even think of raising gas taxes to fix this administration's poor fiscal abilities. You squandered a $100B dollars and now you want to place the burden of Sacramento's ineptitude on your constituents. Don't even think about it. We have the most expensive gas in the nation because of your policies, not because the oil companies are gouging only Californians. You are crushing the working man who drives to work every day or drives for work everyday. Because you are reducing refineries while the population has doubled is one of the sources of our high gas prices. And we have our "special" gas that can't be imported from other sources, compounds this upward price pressure. And then we have the cap and trade where we just tax the oil companies for the general budget expenses and does nothing for emissions. Stop this nonsense. |
