I understand the efforts of lowering our carbon emissions however
without providing subsidies for these boat owners or in some cases,
without even the capability of say for example, electric motors for
boats, it seems like this is a huge mistake that will kill our
fishing industry. Every angler I know, follows the regulations on
limits and size limits so we can fish sustainably and have the
utmost respect towards our California waters. Please put this
policy to rest for now, and bring it to the table when there are
better measures in place where you won't shut down the local
businesses.
