* Californians support bold action to combat global warming
pollution;
* The whole world is watching the Air Board to see whether it is
willing to take enforceable steps now to implement California's
historic global warming law;
* We urge the Board, specifically, to adopt early action measures
to:
 1. Reduce diesel emissions from heavy-duty trucks;
 2. Require ports to provide shore-side electrification to
vessels;
 3. Require cement factories to use energy more efficiently.

These measures will both reduce greenhouse gas emissions and
protect public health by reducing toxic air pollution.
