Please find attached our letter of support for CARB’s Cap-and-Trade
Draft Investment Plan. We strongly support dedicating cap-and-trade
revenues to active transportation programs and are pleased that
CARB has included the Safe Routes to School Program and the Bicycle
Transportation Account as eligible programs for this funding.
We have also included a document we drafted that summarizes the
nexus between improving conditions for bicycling and walking and
reducing greenhouse gasses.
