To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing in support of funding the Biofuels Oasis grant
request. There is a huge demand for a more convenient fueling
station in the SF Bay Area. Currently, the hours are very limited
and having greater access will encourage more people to support
the biofuels industry. The Biofuels Oasis is an outstanding model
of a locally owned green business with a successful track record
of supplying residents with quality biodiesel made mostly from
recycled waste vegetable oil, which supports what local residents
want. It was this particular business, that encouraged me to sell
my gasoline vehicle and obtain a diesel vehicle. I applaud their
efforts and their committment to the environment and our
community. As a California resident, who wholeheartedly supports
alternate fuels and lowering my carbon footprint, I employ you to
grant their request for funding. It is a business like this that
will set a precedence for other businesses to be established here
in the Bay Area, California and within the United States.
