My name is Barbara Bergmann, and I am a resident of Sacramento.
Written below are my comments on board item act19. I live off of a
busy street and am enjoying the relatively clean air from the
reduced car traffic. Now if all the trucks ran on clean energy....

Here in California, clean air is a must. Not only are vulnerable
populations hit harder by the virus, they suffer more from air
pollution. 
I have a grandchild who spent his first two years in an apartment
next to a street with 24 hour truck traffic. Even though he is
white, his health problems might be a result of this early
exposure. No child should have to suffer because of the zip code
they live in.

Getting electric vehicles, especially trucks, would go a long way
to ensuring better health for all of our kids.
