The loss of Southern California sport fishing would be a massive
detriment to the local culture and the entire community in our
region.  The elimination of sport fishing boats would effectively
make fishing a sport only available to the upper middle and upper
class, those individuals with a boat of their own, while the lower
economical classes would be relegated to fishing from the land and
land based structures, this would in turn limit activities for 
some kids and young people who otherwise may have a budding passion
for the outdoors which in turn would breed a mind for conservation.
