| Comment | Good afternoon,
I understand the Air Resources Board is considering a
groundbreaking Advanced Clean Truck Rule requiring truck
manufacturers to sell clean, zero emission trucks in California.
Once again, California has the opportunity to lead.
Passing this rule would revolutionize the heavy duty truck market
by creating new demands for clean trucks while cleaning up our air
and protecting the climate.
The goal of 300,000 ZEVs by 2035 makes sense on the face of it.
Though I do not know the total population of heavy duty trucks,
providing 5+ years to work on the technology, and the remainder of
time needed for stock turnover/retirement of vehicles
Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
