My name is Armando Munoz and I am a SEIU-USWW member and  has been
working at the airport in LAX for the past 14 years. I'm here to
share how important it is for jet fuel to be regulated. The airline
industry is one of the biggest polluters in California and it's the
only form of transportation that isn't regulated by carb. Why is
that as an worker I am exposed to particulate matter in the air
that comes from jet fuel and many of us live under the fly path, so
we are exposed all day long, as our airports continue to grow
increase and pollution well also, when carb staff put out their
initial recommendations, they included regulated airfield for
flights in California now that's gone. Where did it go, and those
of us who live and communities are dying at a much higher rate than
others were also mostly black and brown communities. This is
definition of Environmental Racism
