As an avid angler from California I strongly disagree with closing
fishing off the California coast. I and my mother both go on a
regular basis. That is our right to go fishing. It is a very
enjoyable activity which I have done for 50 + years. It would
destroy the lively hood  to thousands of fishing charters and put
and end to commercial fishing. Do not close our waters just because
you can!
