Method 5 and 202. The ISO 8178 Test Methods needlessly require a
dilution tunnel, 5 stable test modes, and a different temperature
(125 F) defining PM. Auxilliary engine exhaust stack diameters
and gas velocity are normally within the range to allow standard
isokinetic PM sampling. Accepted CARB standard methods should be
utilized to provide consistency in PM measurements.
