1. CARB should require
automakers to reach a target of 75% of their new vehicles being
zero-emission in 2030, in order to maximize pollution reductions
and the number of clean cars in the market


 


2. I also ask that you
include strong equity standards that ensure that automakers
increase affordability and access to ZEVs for disadvantaged
communities, which face the worst impacts of air pollution and
climate change.  The fund for the Clean Vehicle Assistance
program for low-income Californians needs to be replenished,
including funds to advertise the program.
