As a worker in the fishing industry I am writing to ask you to not
pass a bill that would put most of the passenger sport fishing
boats in California out of business and virtually end sport fishing
as we know it here. It would do great financial harm to towns that
depend on the fishing industry to make a living and put thousands
of people out of work. We certainly need to do something to improve
our air quality but killing an entire industry that contributes in
a huge way to Californias economy is not the way to do it.
