Please provide meaningful options and strategies that will
effectively reduce vehicle miles travelled in an equitable manner.
Some ideas:


Double or Triple the amount of funding allocated to public
transit especially bus rapid transit in dedicated lanes or even
better passenger rail transit


Implement a means-tested road user charge as a replacement for
the gas tax that will not punish the poorest who must travel the
farthest to get to work
