Please clean up off-road diesel engines. Doing so should prevent
thousands of premature deaths; increase public health; reduce
health care costs by billions of dollars; help bring the most
polluted areas of the state, the Los Angeles/Long Beach air basin
and the San Joaquin Valley, into compliance with federal air
quality standards; among other benefits.
