Dear Board Members,
With the very high inflation costs on everything from eggs to meat
and all essential goods, this is the worst time to increase any
taxes on gasoline.

While we all greatly appreciate your efforts to have clean air,
simply taxing the population at the pump will not work.

What it will do is to cause more people living on the streets
because they cannot pay the rent and food bills at the same time.

Middle income earners such as teachers cannot afford another dime.
Healthcare rates are soaring and so is food.

The CA government and you as appointees of CA Gov. Newsom should
recognize that you cannot squeeze out another dime from the average
CA worker.
