SubjectGas Price Hike Proposal
Comment
As a small business owner and one that is experiencing the burden
of inflation, a decrease in revenue, and an inflation forced
increase in debt to stay open, I am strongly opposing any such vote
by the board which would either directly or indirectly through
legislative loop holes cause there to be an increase in taxation or
other fees assessed causing the price of gas to be increased.

The time is now that unelected appointed board members, armed with
the ability to legislate higher costs of goods such as gas to get
in line with the state populous. I am confident that support for
increased gas prices is neither biased nor affiliated with any
particular political party or movement. It is the consensus across
the state that an increase in gas prices in an already overly
regulated position of power, is not supported nor favorable amongst
the majority citizens of the state of California.

Sacramento owes its citizens accountability as well as the ability
to vote on a decision affecting our hard earned dollars rather than
be subjected to a back door armed power of the state governments
ability to tax its citizens through hidden proposition loopholes.

I am calling on this board to withdrawal a set vote, present the
public with this information, and allow the citizens to make a
choice next election cycle.
