Hello,
I am a small business owner that rents boats to individuals and
groups for outings on San Diego bay. I personally own and rent one
vessel that serves our community as well as San Diego's tourism.
The impact of forcing my small business, to purchase engines for my
vessel, that don't yet exist, will obviously put us completely out
of business. My boat alone gives access to hundreds of people per
year, looking to get off land, and enjoy the San Diego skyline by
water with friends and family. We help celebrate weddings, wedding
proposals, birthdays, baby showers, bachelor and bachelorette
parties, as well as delicate burials at sea for loved ones who's
wishes were to have their ashes scattered in the ocean. 

I received my captain's license almost 7 years ago to share my
passion for the water and if this passes, myself and thousands of
other captains and crew will be without work on charter vessels!
