Subject	Proposed Strategies for Carbon Removal and Sequestration
Comment	Please see the attached file for a brief discussion of a new type of carbon removal that is installed on semi-trucks. The implications for large-scale but distributed carbon removal on all trucks are profound. It can be complementary to electrification and possibly expedite the entire removal to 2035 instead of partial removal as proposed by the Advanced Clean Trucks program. A CARB CCS program is proposed, possibly using its 2018 CCS Protocol, or a modification as needed to accomodate distributed collection and sequestration on a regional basis. California could move much faster towards a 2035 goal of carbon neutrality. The technology is available, proven, robust, and now in production. We need to move quickly this decade to greatly lower vehicle emissions, so now there is a path.
