I live in Canada but have been travelling to San Diego at least
twice a year for offshore fishing trips for a decade. If you force
these fishing boat operators off the ocean I will be keeping my
money in Canada. It is just not the boat operators who will feel
this pinch, travelling fishermen like myself spend a generous
amount of money on local hotels, restaurants, tackle shops, etc
every trip we take.
