Dear CARB Member,
    I will be brief. I drive a '96 Solectria. If I am completely
fair about evaluating the costs of an EV, including the costs of
batteries, the bottom line is that the cost per mile is about the
same as gasoline. However, the huge win is that the electricity I
buy for moving the car, is renewable. No carbon.
     The details are gladly provided if requested.
