I am a California resident and I support the adoption of new
regulations that will phase out the sale of highly-polluting
gas-powered leaf blowers and lawn equipment in California beginning
in 2024.

These types of small engines produce a lot of greenhouse gasses. 
Better alternatives are available, and developments in both this
field and others show that recommendations and gradual phase-outs
are not effective.  We need to ban the sale of this equipment
immediately; it's too late to dilly-dally about climate change.

Financial subsidies provided by the state will help any small
businesses that are hurt by rule changes.  There are no more
excuses.
