| Comment | I'v been fishing on the boats on the southern cal. coast for almost 60 years, and the people who own and operate these boats are more concerned about their environment and the fishieries than 90% of the general public. they almost all changed out their engines about 8 years ago at a large expense. now the new requirements will almost surely collapse the entire industry. there are only about 300 of these sport boats on the coast and I fail to see what, if any impact they have on our air. the new requirements would surely break most of these small business owners. because of that I strongly that the board not go forward with the new regulations related to the sportfishing boats. there should be some consideration of the economic impact of new regulations. |
