| Comment | Please phase out perc totally from all dry cleaners over as many
years as you feel necessary. Also, please do not allow a
substitute which will increase VOCs in the San Joaquin Valley. I
am enclosing a picture of my home town, Wasco, CA where the dry
cleaner is right next door to the playground of the local
elemenatary school. This business will be allowed to continue
using perc under your proposed amendment. How many other
situations like this exist in the state? Please protect our
children and our air quality by doing the right thing.
