"New amendments proposed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) under the Low-Carbon Fuels Standard (LCFS) program could drive fuel prices up by as much as $0.85 per gallon soon and by up to $1.50 per gallon by 2035. Please delay all votes on this topic until clear information regarding the costs of these amendments has been provided to the voters of California. Our fuel prices are already the highest in the Continental United States, and we cannot afford for them to go any higher, especially with potential price shocks on the horizon due to instability in Russia, Iran, and other unfriendly fuel producing nations. Thank you," |
