| Comment | Glaciers are melting and we sit here as a society and debate if
all-electric cars are viable or worth it!
This is where we all need to get to as fast as we possibly can:
Take Norma Williamson, a public high school
teacher in the Los Angeles suburb of Cerritos.
Norma and her husband Alan have been driving a
fully electric Toyota RAV4 since 2002. They
charge the car with electricity generated by
their home's solar panels. They haven't purchased
gas in six years. They live—and propel—the promise of a
pollution-free future.
With gas approaching $4
per gallon all-electric vehicles charged by a home outlet supplied
by a local home rooftop array of PVs is the absolute sane way to go
, not only for ourselves, but our grandchildren.
I live in Colorado, and what California does will have an
extremely positive or extremly negative impact on our entire
society. Please do the right thing-support all-electric vehicles
in every way possible.
We own two 1991 Hondas; we will never again buy a car until we get
a home plug-in all-electric vehicle.
Please support both PHEVs and BEVs equally.
