Please reconsider the small engine ban scheduled for 2024. In a
state that is already very difficult to operate a small business
due to high taxes and other regulations this could be the final
nail in the coffins for many small businesses that depend on these
types of power equipment. The cost to convert to battery to
accomplish the tasks that the small engines perform is staggering.
The current technology only allows us to operate these electric
powered tools for approximately 30 minutes. I'll need 16 battery
packs per each power tool we use in order to work a shift.
Please stop the ban.
