With global warming threatening the planet and the cost of oil
skyrocketing, we don't have time to wait. We need to make sure
that clean cars hit the market soon. 

I eagerly request that automakers be required to stick to their
original 2003 promise to produce 25,000 ZEVs in 2012-2014 and
50,000 in 2015-2017. 

Please do not weaken the ZEV Program again.
