| Comment | Please stop the California Air Resources Board (CARB) from reducing
the number of Zero Emission Vehicles required by automakers.
Instead, they need to make Electric vehicles generally available
for sale to those wishing to buy one.
Please ask your appointed CARB chair, Mary Nichols, to
1. Require the full 25,000 ZEVs that automakers had promised for
2012-2014, and
2. Create a separate requirement for plug-in hybrids that lets
them replace the dirtiest vehicles in CARB's regulations, rather
than the cleanest ZEVs.
Free-market choice for Californians means cleaner air for
everyone.
