The problems we've had in EVERY other area of our society come from
laissez-faire "free market" or "market-based" decision-making. But
there are some things that you can't put a price tag on, and don't
belong in the equation in the first place. Above ALL, we must
protect our environment and our air quality. If we don't, to save a
buck for now, we will pay in untold multiples later for such
reckless, short-sighted carelessness.
