| Comment | I've been building/driving electric cars for 35 years. many people
want to, but no auto dealer can sell them one because industry
lobbyists hate the fact that they do not need the thousands of
belts, hoses, mufflers, fluids etc. that they want to sell. My car
has a lifetime motor with one moving part.
It's sad that after so many years of successful driving there is
still no place to recharge my car away from home. Gas stations
must be forced to provide at minimum, 110 and 220 volt outlets for
today's and tomorrow's electric vehicles. I've never had a single
gas station allow me to plug in when my batteries are low, but
still I can drive 200 miles a day up to 80mph. Which reminds me;
reducing the state speed limit would go far in saving fuel, lives
and stress.
