I understand that BioFuel Oasis has applied for funding from CARB
to support their proposed new biodiesel fueling facility and I
would like to express my support for their grant application.

I have purchased biodiesel from their current facility for around
two years now and they have consistently impressed me as a well
run, locally funded small business that is comitted to supplying
high quality biodiesel using recycled vegetable oil.  Biodiesel
from recycled oil is an excellent way of reducing lower carbon
dioxide gas emissions and also lowering the level of particulates
and as such it I feel that it deserves far stronger promotion and
support.

The major challenge that the Bay Area faces is that it is far too
hard for the potential purchases of biodiesel to find a source of
supply.  Whenever possible I personally speak to drivers of diesel
vehicles about switching to biodiesel and the most frequent reason
offered to me for not using it is simply that they cannot find a
convenient fueling  location.

The proposal from BioFuel Oasis would create a much more
convenient fueling location within relatively easy reach of the
I-80 and open for most of the day.  I urge you to support their
application for funding.
