Dear Sir/Madam:
Please approve the grant application for Berkeley's Biofuel Oasis
because it has been a RELIABLE source of biodiesel for the past
several years, fulfilling a growing demand for alternatives to
petroleum fuel.  For those of us in the burgeoning ranks of
renewal biofuel consumption, reliability of supplier is SO
IMPORTANT.  In the gestational period of locating non-petroleum
fuel alternatives, I have had a card-lock service station
summarily close its biodiesel pumps(Third St. in San Francisco). 
Home delivery of biodiesel was the next option, albeit not great. 
That is, until Biofuel Oasis came along and has been reliably
supplying biodiesel for the past several years.  The fact that it
now needs to expand and provide 24-hour service speaks to the
growing ranks of biodiesel users.  While ethanol has its place, we
need to diversify our fuel options.  I have yet to see many
non-fleet ethanol consumers in California.  Spread your grant-eggs
and bump up biodiesel as an alternative worthy of an award.
