Dear Sir or Madam,

I write to you to respectfully request that you allocate funding
to Berkeley's Biofuel Oasis for their infrastructure needs at
their new site. 

I have been purchasing biodiesel from them for two years, and the
new site will make it much easier. Its location is convenient for
me, but it's also highly visible and accesible to commuters
heading to interstate 80 and beyond. Its presence will be a huge
PR boon to proponents of alternative fuel.

I don't have any place to store biofuel in bulk, much less produce
it it at home: Biofuel Oasis is my only local option for fuel. As
valuable as they are currently to me, the new filling station,
with increased hours of operation and more convenient placement,
will only make them more so.

The environmental benefits of locally sourced biofuel are
doubtless well known to you, as are the benefits of supporting a
locally-owned business with strong community ties. Allocating
funds to Biofuel Oasis will be a positive step for alternative
fuel technologies and for South Berkeley.
