Dear Sir or Madam,

I have worked for Sun Light & Power Company since 2004.  All
except one of our trucks are run on biodiesel per our company
values.  Biofuel Oasis is an important cornerstone in the biofuel
community here in Berkeley.  Their fuel is superior to other
competitors for several key reasons: 1) they obtain their
vegetable oil locally and recycled as much as possible, reducing
their carbon impact on the environment 2) their business is a
cooperative, minority (women) owned local business, and 3) it is
the only place in the bay area where the public can come to the
pump to purchase biodiesel.  BioFuel Oasis was a recipient of the
first annual Champions of Sustainability Award by Sustainable
Berkeley in 2006, and they are prominent grassroots example of
being part of the solution to detrimental global climate change.
