Hello - I would like to add my support to the Biofuel Oasis in
their quest to obtain funding from the California Air Resources
Board.  As you may know, the Biofuel Oasis is a locally owned and
operated biodiesel fueling station, selling ASTM certified
biodiesel for the past three years.  I have been a very happy
customer, using biodiesel in a 2001 Volkswagon TDI since the
station opened.  I have averaged over 40 miles per gallon on
vegetable oil for the life of the car. The Biofuel Oasis is
certainly a model for other entrepeneurs to follow in creating a
successful, non-petroleum based fueling station!

The use of biodiesel translates into lower carbon
dioxide/greenhouse gas emissions and lower particulates, which
means cleaner air and less global warming.  Over the past year,
the biodiesel available at the Biofuel Oasis was made in
California from recycled vegetable oil.  This also helps reduce
pollutants and greenhouse gasses, since the fuel is not shipped
across the country.

The Biofuel Oasis is in the process of moving to a new location. 
The Grant money available would be very helpful in this process.  
 The new location would be incredibly more visible to the public,
while very easy to find from Interstate 80.  This increased
visibility would only benefit the entire biofuel industry, with
thousands more fuel-buying people seeing the future here in
California.

Please seriously consider the Biofuel Oasis when making your final
decisions and funding allocations.
