    I urge the Board to continue to push for more clean, zero
emission vehicles.  Don't give into auto company pressure. 
California needs more clean, zero emission vehicles.  We need to be
in the forefront in reducing air pollution and lowering green house
gas emissions.  Zero emissions vehicles are a quick way to do both
with our present way of living.  
    We can't expect the federal government to do anything now to
protect public health.  The responsibility is on you to protect our
health now and in the future. 
    Zero emissions vehicles save consumers money, provide a
powerful, fast car and cut down on air pollution. We need as many
as possible on the road.  What you should be doing is forcing auto
companies to not only  make them, but to advertise them.  I think
they complain about lack of demand, yet they don't advertise.
