of electric vehicles and drive down their manufacturing costs.
Currently electric vehicles have a lower annual maintenance cost
than combustion vehicles. This will keep the truckers smiling for
years.

Legislation passed in CA last year requiring big rigs to have smog
checks. Electric truckers will not be burdened with this expense.

Large diesel trucks are responsible for nearly 40% of particulate
matter emissions from ground transport. This will significantly
improve air quality and public health.

More charging stations are needed at truck stops. Please draft a
policy to expand the network. Obtain funding from increased sales
taxes and annual registration fees for combustion vehicles.
