I'm writing to strongly support the proposed rule mandating at
least 30% of heavy-duty trucks sold be electric, zero-emission
vehicles by 2033.  This rule will have multiple benefits:
* improving public health by reducing pollution, particularly in
heavily-impacted areas like ports that have heavy truck traffic
* addressing a major gap in efforts so far to fight climate change
* spurring development of a new industry and the accompanying jobs

Furthermore, the proposed time frame provides ample opportunity for
advances in electric truck technology and development of supporting
infrastructure.  If anything it should be more aggressive.

In summary, please approve a strong electric truck rule.
