dear clerk

2 years ago someone i know had to run out of her house, with her
guests and 85 y o husband, during the fires around santa rosa. 
fortunately, it was their vacation home.

last year my wife's friends in paradise fled in a similar manner. 
as they drove through the inferno, they watched people burn to
death.

this year my son's ex-girlfriend's family got away from the fires
near healdsburg, but all the houses and barns on their ranch were
razed (except one).

would you say the proposed action regarding clean trucks is too
little too late...or better late than never?
