| Comment | Like many others, I'm shocked and appalled at what appears to be pending rulings that will impact a vast number of "Mom & Pops" operations along our coast. It is part of my personal PTSD relief, to go out on the fishing boats. A day on the water, fresh air, and (if lucky) a fish or two. The proposed amendments to the Commercial Harbor Craft regulations will utterly destroy the finances of far too many small operations - and force them into bankruptcy. Who will pick up the slack? Big profit deep pocket speculators? Where, ultimately, only the rich can afford to go fishing? Or whale watching? What about us vets? The one's with limited funds. We won't be able to afford their ticket prices. Please think about the little people here. |
