| Comment | I oppose the pending regulations on passenger &Fishing boats. The regulations will completely destroy thousands of businesses, Landings and fishing boat owners. Sport fishing for example, is a multi-million, if not billion dollar business here in California. Consider the tax revenue generated for communities and small businesses from sport fishermen and women. Consider the tax revenue from these businesses. This legislation is appalling and draconian. What the board must fail to understand is that sportsmen and women enjoy clean air, clean water and a pristine planet Earth. We ARE the Environmental Conservationist. Not the Sierra Club and not the CARB. The owners of the vessels effected by your legislation would gladly comply with reasonable legislation based on science.
