As a charter boat owner and operator I'm extremely concerned about
the future of our fishery. Not because of the amount of fish but
the amount of restrictions being placed on our way of life. As a
fishermen and steward of the sea I care about the environment. With
that said CARB would destroy my way of living and make it
impossible to provide for my family. This industry is full of
hardworking men and women. It's one of the oldest occupations in
California and deserves better. Until the technology comes along it
makes no sense economically, environmentally or from a safety stand
point to replace our engines.
