Sirs:
Clean air is important to all of us.But this proposed law is just
plain ridiculous and  the most harmful suggestion for hundreds of
thousands of Californians. I sportfish and my only access to the
open waters is via a sportfishing boat operation. I am not wealthy
and the prices have gone up to where I can afford to go only a few
times a year now. If this new regulation goes into effect and
forces sportfishing operations to rebuild all of their boats and
SUBSTANTIALLY raise prices it will effectively deny me and my
grandchildren of our right and ability to persue open water fishing
for pelagic species.  Please do not pass this new regulation as it
WILL FINANCIALLY HARM THOUSANDS of Californians who support their
families thru sportfishing. Many who are not even in  the
sportfishing industry-- electronics, fuel, repairs, manufacturing,
sporting goods stores, food suppliers, and many more. It will HARM
HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of WORKERS AND JOBS !!
