Clerk of the Board:

As boats go out of business as a result of these regulations,
millions of Californians will be denied access to the open sea and
significant economic harm will come to coastal communities that
depend on outdoor tourism. I was taught to fish sustainably at sea
with my father at a very young age, I brought my joy of fishing to
my own kids as well...We are not in a position to have our own boat
to fish from and we rely on the fleet in different harbors in So
cal for this access to the sea.  

Please look hard at the ramifications to these regulations to new
generations of kids to gain access to Joys of the sea, and
harvesting our own food!
